An Assessment of Air and Water Pollution Accrued from Stone Quarrying in Mukono District, Central Uganda

The unquenchable demand for rock materials has attracted many companies within the building and construction sector to invest in stone quarrying. However, this brought about environmental impacts with health threats people. There is a paucity of information magnitude pollution on air water how it varies quarry sites. This study, therefore, investigated physical quarrying explored in-situ mitigations undesirable effects due Four active sites were identified.
